The Beachcomber IOP is designed to expand on the thoughts and ideas which allowed its parent company, The Beachcomber Family Center for Addiction Recovery, to build over thirty five years of successfully treating those afflicted with alcoholism and drug addiction. This includes an emphasis on structure, discipline, hope, self-esteem, fun, and especially, the tools to stay sober after the IOP experience is completed. The program is designed so that the client can maintain his or her career, while still attending treatment. This is done through three one hour therapeutic group sessions three evenings per week, over a six week period.

Joe Bryan Named Clinician of the Year

We were thrilled to find out that Joseph Bryan, Director of the Beachcomber has been named Clinician of the year by Comprehensive Alcoholism Rehabilitation Programs, Inc. (CARP). This is a very prestigious award that meant a lot to us at the Beachcomber as Joe’s father Jim, the founder of the Beachcomber also received this award. In fact Joe is the 3rd member of the Beachcomber team to receive this award. Joe. Joe has been at the Beachcomber for 30 years but attributed his success to the great staff at the Beachcomber
