Fred
Garver, Bachelor of Science and Therapist-Counselor.
A transplanted New Yorker, Fred is a graduate
of Pratt Institute of New York City where
he studied Civil Engineering. He has worked
in the addictions field since 1978 and joined
The Beachcomber in 1999.
Prior to joining our staff, Fred directed
substance abuse programs in New York, Pennsylvania
and Texas. He served as Test Evaluator for
the Texas Certification Board for six years.
Through his long experience in the treatment
field, he heard of The Beachcomber program
and its unique reputation as a 16-bed facility
for residential care. “Everything I
heard has proven to be true,” he said. “The
treatment program here is absolutely the
best available.”
As a Florida Certified Addictions Professional,
Fred is also internationally certified as
an Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor. He
is a resident of nearby Deerfield Beach.
